PaintCare — Recycling Made Easy

Paint Care, a nonprofit program dedicated to sustainability, makes recycling paint simple and accessible. Funded by a small fee added to new paint purchases, the program partners with local retailers to provide convenient drop‑off locations. With local drop‑off sites hosted by trusted retailers, recycling is simple, convenient, and helps build stronger community ties.

Paint Care sites accept up to 5 gallons a day per household. Accepted products, also referred to as “Paint Care products” and “architectural coatings,” are the same ones that carry the Paint Care fee when purchased. By keeping millions of gallons of unused paint out of landfills each year, reducing waste, preventing harmful chemicals from polluting soil and water. Reprocessed paint gets a second life as new products, conserving resources and cutting down on fresh materials.

Residents enter their zip code to find local retailers accepting paint products, making paint recycling easier than ever! By shopping locally and recycling responsibly through Paint Care, Tazewell County residents are helping to create a cleaner, stronger, and more sustainable community. Together, we can make every gallon count. Find a drop‑off site near you and start recycling today by clicking on the link below.
